What are the off-season wedding months? November, December, January, February, and March. We offer romantic and intimate outdoor and indoor elopements for these months (for every budget) so you can have your affordable wedding abroad!

Off season wedding venues
From November to March, it is the best time to have a winter vacation and pamper yourselves as a couple, to take the opportunity to have intimate time together. You can elope and stay in a spa hotel or one of Bornholm’s cozy beach hotels, walk across the pure beaches and visit the Christmas markets in December. OFF-SEASON OUTDOOR OR INDOOR PACKAGE
Off Season Outdoor or Indoor Wedding

Did you know? Bornholm has over 300 sunny days in a year! So it’s perfect for winter elopements.
While it can be cold to have your wedding outdoors during some of these wedding dates, it should still be okay (if you dress warm) to have your wedding in one of the island’s beautiful outdoor locations, regardless of the time of year. Also, in the case of a storm or really bad weather, you can always have your indoor elopement or small wedding ceremony in the hotel you chose to be accommodated in during your stay on the island. If you need recommendations, please ask us as we know all the best and more comfortable hotels in Bornholm.

The Off-Season Wedding Package  includes:
- Personal wedding planner
- All legal paperworkÂ
- All taxes and fees to the Danish authorities
- International marriage certificate (issued immediately after the ceremony and is available in English, German, Danish, Spanish and French)
- Complimentary legalization of the marriage certificate with an Apostille – for couples residing outside EU
- A full wedding ceremony at your chosen hotel (accommodation not included in the package) or at a location of your choice
- Officiant/Celebrant
- Witnesses, if necessary
- A local, in-season Bridal Bouquet & Buttonhole
- Bubbles for the toast
- 1-hour Professional photography
- Coordination service between the couple and other vendors such as hotels, hairdressers, transportation

Optional Guests surcharge: A total of € 90 for up to 10 guests and € 150 for up to 20 guests.
Indoor Elopement Wedding at the Medieval Center
Package starting at € 2.950*

The medieval center is truly a special wedding venue, whether you want to get married in the early fall months, winter, or early spring, your wedding date can even be during Christmas time and this location will still be remarkable!
Some couples even get married here and wear medieval clothes to get into the spirit, but it’s not required! The center is truly created for special experiences with its wooden decoration, painted walls, red accents, fireplace, and historic details.Â
You arrive at the medieval center, guides dressed in the medieval spirit will meet and greet you at the entrance and so your experience begins! The bridal couple and guests are followed up to Stormandsgården, a type of medieval manor house. Then, the wedding will take place in the Stormandenssal area where the ceremony will be followed by a small reception and a photo session.
Did you know? The medieval center also offers a unique Christmas-themed wedding from mid-November to December where the center has Christmas decoration and throughout the whole year offers traditional Danish snacks or dinner all year round. Imagine the idea of a warm fireplace and the wooden details heightened by the Christmas decorations – it really makes for a special December, winter wedding elopement abroad.



The Indoor Elopement Wedding at the Medieval Center Package includes:
- Personal wedding planner
- All legal paperworkÂ
- All taxes and fees to the Danish authorities
- International marriage certificate (issued immediately after the ceremony and is available in English, German, Danish, Spanish and French)
- Complimentary legalization of the marriage certificate with an Apostille- for couples residing outside EU
- Rental of the hall up to 4 hours, as well as serving & historical storytelling, heating of the hall with floor heating. The hall will be decorated with seasonal flowers and there will be a fire in the fireplace.
- A full wedding ceremony
- Officiant/Celebrant
- Witnesses, if necessary
- A local, in-season Bridal Bouquet & Buttonhole
- Bubbles for the toast
- 1-hour Professional photography
- Coordination service between the couple and other vendors as hotels, hairdresser, transportation and restaurants.

If you want to turn your indoor elopement wedding at the medieval center into a Viking-themed wedding, here are some ideas for extra services to add to your package: the traditional Nordic handfasting ceremony, dining, live medieval music by 2 people in medieval costumes, extra time for the photoshoot, and a videographer.
